(If you haven't yet registered for Ignite, head [here](http://bit.ly/1baob3H) to do so.) ![ignite logo white](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/ignite-logo-white-500x159.png) These days, no matter where users are, they want access to key data and applications from their mobile devices. But traveling outside of the corporate office and accessing the corporate network creates plenty of risks for users -- some scenarios more so than others. One of our main Ignite 2014 tracks, Mobile and End-User Security, will take an in-depth look at the evolving nature of mobile threats, including how cyber criminals are targeting mobile devices and wireless networks, and what you can do to protect your mobile infrastructure. Here are some of the sessions we'll have available: * **Understanding Mobile Threats: Techniques for Exploiting Mobile Devices** : [Brian Tokuyoshi](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/blog/author/brian/), Palo Alto Networks product marketing manager for mobility, will discuss techniques used to attack mobile devices and wireless networks, and explain the principles behind the techniques. He'll also share trends in mobile malware and provide insights into the latest devices and mobile application vulnerabilities. * **Introduction to GlobalProtect** : [GlobalProtect](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/products/technologies/globalprotect.html) provides organizations with protection that's always on -- a versatile solution to address a broad range of security initiatives for mobile devices, including laptops, smartphones and tablets. Brian will be joined by Joby Menon, Palo Alto Networks senior product manager, to explain the basics of the GlobalProtect architecture and highlight several of its key use cases and best practices. * **A Deep Dive on the New GlobalProtect Mobile Security Manager** : An updated GlobalProtect was a major piece of our [recent PAN-OS 6.0 launch](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/blog/2014/01/palo-alto-networks-releases-pan-os-6-0/). Brian and Joby will take Ignite attendees through the important details, including a live demonstration. * **Securing BYOD Environments with Aruba Networks and Palo Alto Networks Integration**: Martin Walter, Palo Alto Networks senior product manager, will be joined by representatives from Aruba Networks to talk about integration points between Aruba wireless infrastructure and the Palo Alto Networks next-generation security platform. Learn how BYOD is driving extensive changes in the way organizations design their networks and how to adopt Zero Trust principles in the access layer. * **Real-World Requirements for Mobile Security**: Brian Tokuyoshi will be joined by Jorgen Seeman, IT manager and CNSE at Napatech, to explore the state of mobile security as seen through the eyes of three enterprises that have adopted aggressive mobile computing strategies. * **On the Trail of Mobile Malware**: Palo Alto Networks engineers Wei Xu and Zhi Xu will discuss the state of mobile malware and the new techniques used to get past traditional operating system security measures, as well as new techniques available to detect signs of malicious activity. * **Dealing with Dangers on Wireless Networks**: Mobile devices are constantly in use and often connect to any available Wi-Fi network, but in many cases, these connections are public networks that are not secure. In this session, we'll explain the implications of a compromised mobile device and the potential impact to a corporate Wi-Fi network, as well as discuss techniques to mitigate this risk. Joining us for a panel discussion will be Eugene Grant, security architect with Revera Inc., Miles Von Hausen, network and data security analyst with the Waterloo Region District School Board, and Adam Mansour, CTO of Spyders Inc.
