Over the past year and half, the retail and hospitality verticals have been challenged, but there are some bright spots -- digital investments and innovations have been at the center of helping many organizations stay ahead. Having digital readiness and a robust cybersecurity offering is key to growth in this sector. We are thrilled to announce that we have become a member of the Retail and Hospitality Information Security and Analysis Center ([RH-ISAC](https://www.rhisac.org/)) council. We're excited to help improve retail and hospitality cybersecurity. To that end, we are partnering with several retail and hospitality companies and technologies to drive thought leadership, cybersecurity platforms and solutions to help mitigate the biggest cybersecurity attacks.

Retailers have seen tremendous growth in digital. In order to meet consumer expectations in every channel and drive mobile-associate empowerment and supply chain excellence, end-to-end security is key to sustainable innovation. At Palo Alto Networks, we are prepared to help retailers meet today's toughest cybersecurity challenges with a robust set of end-to-end security platforms -- whether you're facing digital skimming, ransomware, bot attacks, IoT, mobile app hijacking, or many other forms of attack. In fact, over the past several years, digital skimming has doubled (according to the [Verizon 2020 Data Breach Investigations Report](https://enterprise.verizon.com/content/verizonenterprise/us/en/index/resources/reports/2020-data-breach-investigations-report.pdf)); there has been a 70% increase in the number of phishing attacks (according to a recent [Gartner](https://www.gartner.com/en/newsroom/press-releases/2020-09-15-gartner-survey-finds-the-evolving-threat-landscape-is-top-priority-for-security-and-risk-management-leaders) survey); and 57% of IoT devices are vulnerable to medium or high severity cyber attacks (according to the [2020 Unit 42 IoT Threat Report](https://unit42.paloaltonetworks.com/iot-threat-report-2020/)).

As a member of the RH-ISAC community, we are well positioned to help retailers and hoteliers remain secure while helping shape current and future solutions that allow businesses to focus on key goals of growth, revenue and customer acquisition.
