パロアルトネットワークスはアジアでのホスティング事業の拡大に伴い、新たに日本で[Prisma Cloud](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/prisma/cloud)のホスティングを開始します。これにより、アジアにおけるPrisma Cloudのホスティングを提供する国・地域は、オーストラリア、インド、シンガポール、中国、日本となりました。日本では急速なDX(デジタルトランスフォーメーション）活動の結果、企業サーバで稼働するモノリシック アプリケーションから、マルチクラウド環境とハイブリッドクラウド環境で稼働するアジャイルなクラウド ネイティブ アプリケーションへと、アプリケーション配信環境が急変しています。

アジャイルなクラウド アプリケーションの開発に用いられるのが、継続的インテグレーション/継続的デプロイです。このプロセスはコード\&ビルド、デプロイ、ランタイムという3つのアプリケーション ライフサイクル フェーズに大別できます。そして、3フェーズのそれぞれが異なるセキュリティ リスクを組織にもたらすのです。たとえば、オープン ソース ソフトウェアに潜む1件の脆弱性が、ランタイム時には数百件の脆弱性に発展しかねません。ワークロード、Webアプリ、APIに脆弱性があると、攻撃に悪用される可能性があります。コード上の1件の設定ミスがクラウド リソースの数千件の設定ミスにつながり、データ侵害を引き起こすおそれがあるのです。

セキュリティ部門とDevOps部門が効果的に連携して安全なクラウド ネイティブ アプリケーションの開発とデプロイを推進できるよう、パロアルトネットワークスはPrisma Cloudを提供しています。Prisma Cloudはコードからクラウドに至るアプリケーション ライフサイクルを保護するクラウド ネイティブ アプリケーション保護プラットフォーム(CNAPP)です。アプリケーション ライフサイクルを通じた継続的な可視化と予防的な脅威防御によって包括的なセキュリティを実現します。現時点の[ホスティング地域](https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/products/regional-cloud-locations)は、オーストラリア、カナダ、中国、ドイツ、インド、アイルランド、日本、シンガポール、英国、米国です。 また、全世界で約2,000社のお客様、15億件以上の資産、250万件のワークロードを保護しています。
