## Unlocking a New Era of Real-Time Cloud Security for Mission-Critical Government Agencies

As the industry's only CNAPP to achieve FedRAMP High and Moderate authorization, Cortex Cloud is uniquely positioned to meet the rigorous security requirements necessary to flexibly support the U.S. government's most critical operations.

**FedRAMP High**: Representing the most stringent security baseline within the FedRAMP framework, High authorization is for cloud systems handling the government's most sensitive, unclassified data where a compromise would result in severe adverse effects, potentially impacting national security, economic stability or public safety. Authorization demands adherence to more than 400 security controls suitable for mission-critical applications in areas like law enforcement, emergency services, financial systems and healthcare.

**FedRAMP Moderate**: This authorization is designed for cloud systems processing, storing or transmitting federal information where the loss of confidentiality, integrity and availability would have a serious adverse effect on organizational operations, assets or individuals. Moderate authorization covers a broad range of federal data, including personally identifiable information (PII) and sensitive but unclassified information, and requires a baseline of over 300 security controls.

**GovRAMP High and Moderate** : In addition to FedRAMP, Cortex Cloud holds [GovRAMP](https://govramp.org/) (formerly StateRAMP) High and Moderate authorization, underscoring its ability to deliver effective cloud security solutions that align with the diverse compliance requirements of state and local governments.
