Here are a few highlights from our local activities, all of which underscore just how much our strength in the region is growing.<\/p>\n<p>While in Singapore, Palo Alto Networks President &amp; CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/company\/management-team.html\">Mark McLaughlin<\/a> met with The Edge, Singapore\u2019s top weekly business and investment newspaper, and <a href=\"http:\/\/video.cnbc.com\/gallery\/?video=3000206722&amp;play=1\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >also appeared on CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box Asia edition<\/a>. It was then on to Seoul, South Korea, where Mark met with several publications \u2013 Korea Economy Daily and Electronic Times among them \u2013 as well as SBS-TV. A final swing through Tokyo brought Mark to a spirited discussion with Nikkei Newspaper \u2013 watch for coverage soon!<\/p>\n<p>Our founder and CTO, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paloaltonetworks.com\/company\/management-team.html\">Nir Zuk<\/a>, also visited Japan earlier this month and spent quite a bit of time talking with business, technology publications, financial and channel media, from Nikkei Enterprise to ZDNet, on the major gains made by Palo Alto Networks in the region. Among Nir interviews to take a look at are <a href=\"http:\/\/ascii.jp\/elem\/000\/000\/834\/834423\/\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >this chat with Ascii.jp<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/businessnetwork.jp\/Detail\/tabid\/65\/artid\/3080\/Default.aspx\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >this discussion with BusinessNetwork.jp<\/a>, and this <a href=\"http:\/\/news.mynavi.jp\/articles\/2013\/10\/22\/paloalto\/\" rel=\"nofollow,noopener\" >interview with MYNAVI news<\/a>. As Nir noted on several occasions, Palo Alto Networks\u2019 platform continues to triumph in part because \u201cother anti-virus vendors [can\u2019t] find 70 percent of the malware we find.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you have the feeling you\u2019ve seen a lot of both Mark and Nir lately, you\u2019re right!
